New Pool , Renovation and Landscaping Wahroonga
Wahroonga is situated in the Upper North Shore of Sydney and 18 kilometres from the Sydney CBD.
The client asked us to construct a new pool and landscape surrounds to suit. Considering different levels we designed the backyard to flow through for open plan living. Using hardwood decking, travertine tiling and stackstone tiling we created a free flowing backyard for this young family to enjoy.
Travertine Pool Tiling Wahroonga
Once we installed the concrete pool shell, we used travertine tiles to erect and incorporate the surrounds of this backyard. We used glass mosaic tiles for the waterline and a white based beadcrete interior to finish off the pool.
Glass Pool Fencing Wahroonga
We installed a glass fence on two sides to safely secure the pool area. The top end of the pool was fenced using a powder coated metal railing fence. A gateway was added to connect to to the alfresco area.
The wall of the pool was a combination of the pool shell, bessa blocks and stacker stone cladding.
Timber Stairway to the Pool Wahroonga
The stairway leading to the entrance of the pool was made from blackbutt timber which is extremely durable and weather-resistant due to its natural oils.
Outdoor Decking Wahroonga
Keeping in mind the amount of stormwater run off to the backyard we erected the deck 0.5m off the ground and compacted a sub base under the frame to ensure the excess water would pass quickly and not withhold moisture.
