Pool Renovating and Landscaping Frenchs Forest
Frenchs Forest is located just 13 kilometres to the north of the Sydney CBD. It is a suburb of the Northern Beaches Council.
As you can see from the video the entire pool area was in need of renovating and landscaping. The fencing was collapsing and the vegetation root system was becoming a major problem. This also meant that the upkeep of the pool was becoming a headache.
The client’s brief was to renovate and secure the pool area and landscape the backyard using turf and travertine tiles.
Renovating the Pool
The pool was emptied to enable us to make the necessary cuts into the pool walls to add lighting an amazing infinity edge and filtration. We then laid the blue tiles to the pool. We incorporated a stairway to the pool. To secure the pool we used glass fencing and a glass gated entrance.
Landscaping at Frenchs Forest
We removed all the existing overhanging and unattended vegetation and implemented a new design to retain the existing landscape and keep maintenance to a minimum, which included building a new boundary fence.
To secure all the vegetation that was growing behind the pool we built a 1.5 metre concrete block wall which was rendered. We added a small garden next to the pool entrance.
